Public Policy

In fulfilling its role of monitoring and analyzing legislation, regulations and issues affecting K-12 education in Washington, the WFIS Board regularly publishes Position Papers. These statements are reflective of the WFIS consensus mission filtered through our collective viewpoint on educational liberty, equitable access and our role in educating state citizens for the common good.

While statements gaining popular support of the Board membership are published as the official position of the Federation, we recognize that individual schools or member constituency groups may, for any number of reasons, choose to support another line of thinking on a particular topic.
